Collaboration

Wayaframe lets you share any project with collaborators, work together in real time, and review each other's work with threaded comments. Whether you are producing content with a team, getting client approval, or reviewing edits with a colleague, collaboration is built directly into the editor.

What you can do

Share projects

Invite anyone by email and assign them a permission level: View, Comment, or Edit. Collaborators accept the invite in their browser or desktop app, and the project syncs automatically. The project owner controls who has access and can change permissions or remove people at any time. See Sharing Projects.

Work together in real time

When multiple people open the same project, Wayaframe shows who is online with colored avatars in the editor header. You can see each other's cursors on the canvas, follow a collaborator to sync your playhead and viewport to theirs, and all edits sync across sessions automatically using conflict-free replication. See Live Collaboration.

Review with comments

Click anywhere on the canvas to start a comment thread. Comments can be anchored to a specific moment on the timeline, a scene element, or the project in general. Threads support replies, emoji reactions, @mentions, and image attachments. Mark threads as resolved when feedback is addressed, and filter the comments panel to focus on what still needs attention. See Comments.

Typical workflow

  1. Open the Share panel and invite collaborators by email.
  2. Each person receives an invite and accepts it in the browser or desktop app.
  3. Open the project together. Colored avatars appear in the header showing who is online.
  4. Make edits, and changes sync automatically across all sessions.
  5. Leave comments on the canvas or timeline for feedback and review.
  6. Resolve comment threads as feedback is addressed.
