Rename, Delete, and Download Albums

Tunedance lets you manage albums both from the library and from the album workspace.

Rename An Album

You can rename an album from:

  • The album card menu in the library
  • The album detail panel inside the album workspace

When you rename an album, Tunedance updates the same album rather than creating a copy.

Delete An Album

You can also delete an album from the library or the album workspace.

Delete is a destructive action, so Tunedance confirms it before the album is removed.

Use delete when you no longer need the album or want to clean up drafts and experiments.

Download An Album

Use the album download action when you want a local copy of everything in the album.

Tunedance currently exports the album as a ZIP archive.

During download:

  1. Tunedance checks that the album has tracks to export
  2. You choose where to save the ZIP file
  3. The app packages the track files into one archive

If the album has no tracks yet, the download action does not continue.

Desktop-Only Behavior

Album download is a desktop app feature.

Because the export flow writes files locally and creates a ZIP archive, it depends on the desktop environment rather than the browser.
