Download and Export Issues

Download and export issues are usually caused by missing local files, desktop-only limitations, or a failed deep-link handoff.

Tunedance download and export issues placeholder

Track Download Fails

If a track download fails, Tunedance is usually unable to find the stored media file for that track.

Check that:

  • the app is running in the desktop environment
  • the media file still exists in local storage
  • you selected a valid save location

Album ZIP Export Fails

Album export can fail when:

  • the album has no tracks yet
  • one or more tracks are missing local files
  • the desktop save flow is interrupted

Tunedance stops album export if it detects missing track files instead of creating an incomplete archive.

Export To Wayaframe Fails

If Export to Wayaframe does not open correctly, the most likely issue is the deep-link handoff.

Tunedance tries the desktop wayaframe:// deep link first. If that fails, it falls back to opening the Wayaframe website.

Best Recovery Path

For file and export issues:

  1. confirm you are using the desktop app
  2. retry the export once
  3. verify the source media file still exists
  4. reopen the album and try again
