Teleprompter

Wayaframe includes a standalone teleprompter window that works alongside the recording controls.

Open The Teleprompter

You can open the teleprompter from the recorder control bar before or during setup.

The teleprompter is designed as a separate window so you can position it alongside your recording workflow instead of replacing the main recorder surface.

Load Or Write A Script

The current teleprompter supports two main ways to prepare text:

  • Type or paste script text directly into the prompt area
  • Insert script text from project content through the script popover

The teleprompter stores its text locally, so the script can remain available when you reopen the window.

Control The Reading Experience

Wayaframe's teleprompter includes live controls for:

  • Play and pause scrolling
  • Font size
  • Scroll speed
  • Horizontal margin
  • Background color
  • Text color
  • Left or center alignment
  • Mirror mode

These controls make it possible to adapt the prompt for camera-facing delivery, remote setups, or mirrored glass rigs.

How Scrolling Works

When playback is active, the teleprompter scrolls the text automatically.

You can also:

  • Pause and resume scrolling
  • Edit the text when playback is stopped
  • Use the mouse wheel to move through the script manually

This keeps the teleprompter useful both as a live reading tool and as a script preparation surface.

Best Use Cases

Use the teleprompter when:

  • You are recording a scripted explanation or tutorial
  • You want more consistent delivery during camera or audio capture
  • You need adjustable text sizing for different monitors or reading distances
