Generate Lyrics with AI

Use Generate mode when you want Tunedance to write the first lyric draft for you.

What You Provide

The lyric generation form includes:

• Music Topic / Theme
• Target Duration
• Musical Style enhancements
• Additional Creative Direction
• AI model

This lets you set both the subject of the song and the type of writing you want back.

Music Topic / Theme

The topic field is the main instruction for the lyric generator.

It must:

• Not be empty
• Be at least 10 characters long
• Be no more than 1000 characters long

Use this field to describe what the song is about, not the full musical arrangement.

Target Duration

Tunedance lets you guide the lyric output with a duration target.

The current slider range is:

• 10 seconds to 180 seconds

This helps the generated lyrics better match the scale of the song you want to make.

Additional Creative Direction

Use the optional direction field to steer tone, imagery, or writing choices.

This is useful for instructions like:

• use a hopeful tone
• emphasize summer imagery
• write in a conversational style

AI Model Selection

The lyrics workflow includes an AI model selector. Use it when you want to change which lyric model drafts the text.

Once the form is ready, click Generate Lyrics. Tunedance writes the lyrics into the workspace and moves the flow forward into music generation.
