Comments

Wayaframe includes a dedicated comment system inside the editor for review, feedback, and discussion around a shared project.

the comments workflow

Where Comments Appear

The current comment workflow spans multiple editor surfaces:

  • The Comments sidebar panel
  • The canvas comment overlay
  • Timeline comment markers

This makes comments visible both as a discussion list and as anchored feedback tied to a location in the project.

Add A Comment

Wayaframe supports starting a new thread from the canvas and other project contexts.

The current comment system supports these anchor types:

  • Timeline
  • Scene
  • Script
  • General

If there are no comments yet, the product hint explicitly tells users they can click anywhere on the canvas to start a conversation.

Replies, Reactions, And Mentions

The current comment workflow includes:

  • Threaded replies
  • Emoji reactions
  • Mention support for collaborators

This allows comments to work as a conversation instead of a flat notes list.

Attachments

Wayaframe comments currently support image attachments.

The comment system includes:

  • Image attachment upload
  • Attachment preview
  • Attachment removal
  • Image navigation and zoom in the preview modal

This is useful when collaborators need to reference a visual example or markup while reviewing the project.

Resolve And Reopen Threads

Comment threads can move between open and resolved states.

The current comment workflow supports:

  • Mark as resolved
  • Reopen thread
  • Show or hide resolved comments
  • Mark threads read or unread
  • Mark all as read

These controls help teams keep active review work separate from already-addressed feedback.

Comment Filters And Visibility

Wayaframe includes filtering and visibility controls in the comments panel.

The current controls include:

  • Sort by date or unread
  • Show all threads or only your threads
  • Show comments in timeline
  • Hide comments in preview
  • Show only comments near the playhead

This is especially useful on projects with a large number of review notes.
