Color Adjustment

Wayaframe includes a dedicated Color adjustment panel for refining a clip after filters and effects are in place.

the color adjustment workflow

Main Tabs

The current color-adjustment workflow is split into three tabs:

  • Basic
  • HSL
  • Curves

This keeps quick corrections separate from more targeted color work.

Basic Adjustments

The Basic tab is organized into sections for color, lightness, and finishing effects.

The current controls include:

  • Saturation
  • Temperature
  • Hue
  • Brightness
  • Contrast
  • Shine
  • Highlight
  • Shadow
  • Sharpness
  • Vignette
  • Fade
  • Grain

This is the fastest place to correct or stylize the image without going into channel-specific work.

HSL Adjustments

The HSL tab is for channel-by-channel color refinement.

The current workflow supports adjustments for:

  • Red
  • Orange
  • Yellow
  • Green
  • Cyan
  • Blue
  • Purple
  • Magenta

Each channel can be adjusted for hue, saturation, and lightness.

Curves

The Curves tab gives you more advanced tonal shaping.

The current curves workflow supports:

  • RGB curve editing
  • Individual red, green, and blue channels
  • Curve presets such as Lighten, Darken, Fade, Contrast, Cool Tones, Warm Tones, and Vintage
  • Reset and compare-style tools such as seeing the original image

This is the best option when the preset or basic controls are close, but you need more precise tonal control.

Best Use Cases

Use color adjustment when:

  • A filter gets you close but not all the way
  • You need more control over specific colors
  • You want to balance highlights and shadows more precisely
  • You want curve-based grading instead of only presets
