Export Settings

Wayaframe's export settings popover is the main place to configure what gets rendered and how the final file should be produced.

Choose The Export Type

The current export popover supports two output modes:

  • Video
  • Audio only

This makes it possible to export a full video render or extract only the audio result from the timeline.

Choose What To Export

Wayaframe includes three export scope options:

  • Timeline for the full timeline
  • In/Out for the current playback range
  • Selected for the currently selected clips

If no playback range or clip selection is available, the related option stays disabled until that context exists.

Video Export Settings

When you export video, the current settings surface includes:

  • Resolution: 480p, 720p, 1080p, 2K, 4K, or Match project
  • Quality: Fast exporting, Recommended quality, or High quality
  • Frame rate: presets from 23.976fps through 60fps
  • Format: MP4, MOV, MKV, WebM, GIF, or animated WebP

The current product does not expose separate social-platform export presets in this export popover. Instead, you choose the output manually through resolution, frame rate, and format.

Audio Export Settings

When you switch to audio-only export, the current settings surface changes to audio-specific output choices.

The current audio export workflow includes:

  • Audio format: MP3, WAV, or AAC
  • Audio quality for compressed formats

If the timeline has no audio content, Wayaframe shows a warning instead of allowing an empty audio export.

File Name And Destination

The export popover also includes:

  • A file name field
  • An export destination picker

By default, the export path falls back to your documents folder until you choose a different location.

Important Export Notes

The current export flow also includes a few guardrails:

  • Subtitle warnings when subtitles are out of date
  • Animated GIF and animated WebP output limited to the first 15 seconds
  • Audio-only validation when no exportable audio exists

These messages appear directly in the export popover before rendering starts.
