Recording Shortcuts

Wayaframe currently supports dedicated recording hotkeys for starting, stopping, pausing, and resuming a recording session.

Default Recording Hotkeys

The desktop shortcut modal shows these recording actions by default:

• Start or stop recording
• Pause or resume recording

Those hotkeys are also used by the recorder control flow.

Customize Recording Hotkeys

Recording hotkeys are currently configurable from the recording settings screen in the desktop app.

The current shortcut editor supports two fields:

• Start or stop recording
• Pause or resume recording

To change one, select the shortcut field and press the key combination you want to use.

Clear Or Replace A Shortcut

If a shortcut already has a value, Wayaframe shows the current key combination and a clear action.

This lets you:

• Replace an existing recording shortcut
• Remove a shortcut and leave the field empty

If there is a problem with the shortcut entry, the settings screen can also show an inline error.

Scope Of Customization

At the moment, shortcut customization is focused on recording hotkeys.

The broader editor shortcut list is viewable through the keyboard shortcuts modal, but it is not a full app-wide keybinding editor.
