Transition Settings

Once a transition is applied, Wayaframe exposes its editable settings in the transition inspector.

Incoming And Outgoing Edges

The current inspector separates transition controls into two edges:

  • Incoming
  • Outgoing

That matters because a selected clip can have one transition coming in and another going out.

Duration

The main setting you will adjust most often is Duration.

The current inspector includes:

  • Duration slider
  • Direct numeric input
  • Reset to the preset default
  • Transition summary text showing where the transition applies

This is the main control for making a transition feel snappier or more dramatic.

Supported Transition Options

Some transitions expose extra controls depending on the preset.

The current inspector supports options such as:

  • Easing
  • Direction
  • Mode

Not every transition exposes every option, so the available controls change based on the selected preset.

Timeline Edge Behavior

Wayaframe also handles transitions differently when they occur at the very beginning or end of the timeline.

The current inspector includes Use background color for intro and outro edge cases, with the option to hold the first or last frame instead.

This matters when a transition does not have another clip on one side to transition against.

Remove Or Reset

The transition inspector also supports:

  • Resetting the current transition duration
  • Removing the transition entirely

That makes it easy to test options without committing to a preset permanently.
