Filters

Wayaframe includes a filter workflow for applying preset looks to clips and adjusting how strongly those looks affect the image.

the filters workflow

What Filters Are For

Filters are the fastest way to shift the overall look of a shot without manually adjusting every image property.

Use them when you want:

  • A cinematic look
  • A warmer or cooler grade
  • A stylized preset starting point
  • A quick way to unify multiple shots

Apply Filter Presets

The current editor includes a preset-based filter library.

The available preset labels in the product show a broad range of look families, including:

  • Cinematic looks
  • Portrait looks
  • Retro looks
  • Night looks
  • Food looks
  • Mono looks
  • LUT-style grades such as Cinematic Soft and Teal & Orange

This makes filters useful both for fast exploration and for building a consistent visual tone across a project.

Filter Intensity

Wayaframe treats filters as adjustable rather than all-or-nothing.

The current inspector shows:

  • The applied filters on a clip
  • The intensity of each filter
  • A path back to the filter picker

That means you can choose a strong preset and then dial it back instead of searching for a weaker version.

Filters Vs Color Adjustment

Filters set the general look.

Color adjustment is where you refine that look with direct controls.

That is why the inspector presents Color adjustment directly alongside the filter stack instead of burying it elsewhere.

Best Use Cases

Use filters when:

  • You want a fast overall look
  • You want to normalize multiple clips visually
  • You want a preset grade before doing detailed correction
