Visual Effects

Wayaframe includes a dedicated effect workflow for adding stylized visual treatment to a clip.

Apply Effects

Effects in Wayaframe are preset-driven and cover a wide range of looks and motion treatments.

The current effect categories exposed in the editor include:

  • Trending
  • Hits
  • Intro & Outro
  • Motion
  • Light
  • Retro
  • Glitch
  • Sparkle
  • Distortion
  • Screen
  • Split
  • Graffiti
  • Celebrate
  • Party
  • Weather

This makes effects useful for both subtle polish and aggressive stylization.

Effect Parameters

Once an effect is applied, the inspector exposes the controls for that selected effect.

The current effect inspector supports:

  • Intensity
  • Effect-specific parameters
  • Grouped controls for sliders, toggles, color inputs, and selects
  • Reset to defaults

Some effects are mostly preset-driven, while others expose more custom controls.

Layering And Stacking

Effects are designed to work as part of a layered editing workflow.

In practice, that means you can combine:

  • Animation for movement
  • Effects for stylization
  • Filters for overall look
  • Color adjustment for fine correction

Use restraint here. Strong effects stack quickly, so the inspector is best used to dial intensity back after you find the right preset.

Green Screen And Color Removal

Wayaframe also includes a chroma-key style workflow in the inspector under Remove a color.

The current controls include:

  • Key color
  • Auto detect
  • Pick from preview
  • Similarity
  • Blend
  • Despill
  • Edge cleanup
  • Matte preview

That workflow is useful when you need to remove a specific background color from footage rather than apply a stylized look.

Best Use Cases

Use visual effects when:

  • You want a stylized treatment on a shot
  • You need impact effects for transitions or reveals
  • You want glitch, retro, distortion, or weather looks
  • You need green-screen style color removal
